In April 2024, “17S — Stories Behind Images” took place at BETC Paris,
presenting the graduation works of the Master of Arts in Fashion Image students from Institut Français de la Mode (IFM Paris).
The exhibition explored how visual narratives in fashion can express identity, culture, and emotion
through photography, installation, and moving image.
As part of the exhibition, “Wan” Nicharee Wiwatcharoenkul, co-founder and creative director of PASOM,
presented her final project that examined the intersection between cultural heritage and modern visual expression.
Her work reflected the same philosophy that shapes PASOM — a dialogue between Thai tradition and contemporary design,
distilled into a minimalist visual language.
Through this project, she explored how images can become vessels of memory and meaning
— a continuation of PASOM’s commitment to reinterpreting Thai sensibilities within a modern context.
