Our Founders

Pasom was founded by two high school friends, Rin and Wan,
who shared a vision of creating a Thai fashion label that celebrates Thai heritage
through a modern and tangible aesthetic.

The idea began in 2023, when Wan developed Pasom as her graduation project
for the Master’s program in Fashion Image at Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) in Paris.
Over the following year, the duo worked together to shape the brand’s foundation
— from building its identity to refining its design direction.

In February 2024, Pasom was officially launched,
with the mission to bring contemporary Thai elements to the global stage.

Wan

Co-Founder and Creative Director

Nicharee Wiwatcharoenkul, or Wan,
is a Thai designer and graduate of Institut
Français de la Mode in Paris, where she
majored in Image Design.

Her fascination with fashion began at the age of 13,
when she found herself drawn to the pages
of Teen Vogue in a bookstore — a quiet moment
that grew into a lifelong pursuit.
After completing her studies in Fashion Design
at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok,
Wan worked in the industry for several years
before continuing her journey in Paris
to explore the visual and narrative side of fashion.

Rooted in both design and image-making,
her work reflects a sensitivity to culture, form,
and storytelling. Through Pasom, Wan seeks to
translate the essence of Thai heritage
into a contemporary language — one that is
understated, refined, and deeply connected
to where she comes from.

Rin

Co-Founder

Rin Masan draws from her background in international trade
and policy to bring a grounded, cross-cultural perspective to design.
Having worked across borders, she has developed a sensitivity to connection — between people, places, and the things we create. This awareness informs her approach, where balance and purpose guide every step, from concept to production.

She founded Pasom as a way to translate these values into form
— creating pieces that are refined yet approachable, modern yet familiar. For Rin, design is an act of intention: a respect for craftsmanship, a pursuit of quiet confidence, and a belief that simplicity can speak with strength.
